Hi, my name is Giselle.
I am a microbiologist by degree, an ex-math teacher by occupation, a mama by love, a perfectionist by choice, and an admirer of simple thoughtful design by personality.
In 2009 I received a sewing a machine as a wedding gift from my Grandpa. I knew that if I didn’t start a project right away and learn how to use the machine, that it would languish untouched in a closet forever. At the time, I had lots of friends with babies, and tiny clothes seemed tedious and complicated… but quilts, well quilts had lots of straight seams.
And so the adventure began. I started with a very simple patchwork quilt and learned every step of the quilting process from bloggers’ tips and tutorials.
Hugs,
